New Patients

Welcome to Wildflower Wellness

Beginning care at Wildflower Wellness is designed to feel simple and unhurried. Some people arrive with a clear concern. Others simply know something feels off and want support. You do not need to have everything figured out before scheduling.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first session is longer than a regular appointment because we take time to actually talk. Before any needles, we spend time going over your health history, what's been showing up in your body, what's been going on in your life, and what you're hoping to shift. Nothing is too small to mention. Often the details people think don't matter turn out to be the most useful. From there, I'll share what I'm seeing through a Chinese medicine lens, what patterns I notice, and how I'm thinking about your care. Then we move into treatment. You'll leave with a sense of what's going on, why, and what we're working toward together.

Where Most People Begin

  • New Patient Acupuncture is the most common starting point. It includes a full intake conversation and a hands-on treatment session. This is the best fit if you're coming in for pain, nervous system support, hormonal concerns, digestion, stress, or anything that feels chronic or layered.

  • Cosmetic Acupuncture and Manual Therapies like fire cupping or facial gua sha can be booked directly if that's your primary focus. These sessions still include a brief intake so treatment is tailored to you.

  • Integrative Consultation is a conversation-based session without needles. It's a good fit if you're navigating complex health concerns, want to talk through labs or supplements, or are looking for a care plan before committing to treatment. If you're genuinely unsure which to book, just reach out. Choosing the right starting point matters, and I'm happy to help.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

Sessions are calm and quiet. You'll be on a comfortable treatment table in a private room. Most people feel deeply relaxed during treatment and a little slower and softer afterward. That's normal and a good sign. Acupuncture works cumulatively. One session can offer meaningful relief, but the real shifts tend to happen over time as the body learns to regulate differently. We'll talk about what a realistic care plan looks like for your situation at your first visit, without pressure. You are always welcome to ask questions, change your mind about something, or tell me what isn't working. This is a collaboration.
