Traditional Acupuncture

Gentle needle-based treatment for natural balance and relaxation.

Traditional acupuncture at Wildflower Wellness is designed to be calm, quiet, and supportive of whole body regulation.

Treatments use fine, gentle needles placed at specific points to help ease tension, encourage circulation, and support the nervous system’s ability to shift out of stress patterns. The intention is not to force change, but to help the body rebalance itself more easily.

Sessions are typically relaxing and minimally stimulating.

What Sessions Are Like

Visits are unhurried and paced. After a brief check in, needles are placed gently and you rest comfortably on a heated table.

Quiet rest is considered part of the treatment itself. Some people nap, some rest, some simply enjoy stillness.

There is no pressure to feel a certain way.

Choosing a Visit Length

All session lengths are effective. The difference is simply how much time and space you prefer.

Shorter visits are often used for focused care, maintenance, or times when schedules are tight. Longer sessions allow additional room for deeper relaxation or supportive hands on therapies when helpful.

There is no right or wrong choice.

Your First Visit

New patient visits include time to discuss your health history, current concerns, and goals, followed by treatment.

This allows care to be tailored thoughtfully and without feeling rushed.

Care for Children

Kids acupuncture sessions are gentle, age appropriate, and adapted to comfort level. Treatments may include light needling, acupressure,

or other supportive techniques depending on the child.

The focus is on helping young nervous systems regulate and settle.

After Your Session

Experiences vary. Some people feel deeply relaxed, others feel clear or energized, and many notice subtle shifts over the following days.

Hydration and a bit of extra rest are generally helpful, but no special recovery is required.
