Manual Therapy
Hands-on treatments designed to release tension + support circulation
Fire Cupping
Fire cupping is a hands-on therapy that uses gentle suction from glass cups to decompress tight tissue, encourage circulation, and release areas of chronic tension. It is commonly used for back, neck, shoulder, and muscle discomfort, as well as areas that feel restricted or overworked.
Sessions are grounded and attentive. You may feel warmth, pulling, or a deep sense of release as the cups work. Temporary marks are common and are a normal part of the process. They are not bruises in the traditional sense and typically fade within several days.
It’s helpful to arrive hydrated and having eaten something light. After sessions, many people benefit from staying warm, hydrating well, and avoiding overexertion for the rest of the day. Any additional guidance is shared in session and tailored to your body.
Facial Gua Sha
Facial gua sha is a gentle manual therapy that uses smooth tools and light pressure to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and relaxation in the face, jaw, and neck. While it can support skin health, it is also commonly used to address facial tension, jaw holding, headaches, and stress carried in the upper body.
Sessions are calm and soothing, with a slow, rhythmic pace. Many people experience a sense of relaxation and ease during treatment, as well as improved circulation or reduced tension afterward.
It’s helpful to arrive with a clean face if possible. After sessions, many people notice subtle shifts that continue to unfold over the following days. Any aftercare guidance is discussed in session and personalized to your needs.
